Thanksgiving Dressing

It is so hard to know what to wear for Thanksgiving. How should you dress if you are meeting what you hope to be your future in-laws? What should you wear for a dress for your dinner party? What is love your family's party is much more casual?  Whatever you choose to wear, of course you want to leave plenty of room in your clothes for all that turkey and dressing. Who wants to hold her stomach in all day after all?  Here's what I chose for a country Thanksgiving with my family.   Of course The out that allows for all of the sweets that I consume!  I have a huge weak spot for pumpkin pie and sweet potato casserole.

This dress and a vest are from Anthropologie. The dress I Purchased recently and the best I purchased last year. I have literally wore in the vest so many times. It goes with everything!  The boots are from Bass Pro Shop and are super comfortable. That is not somewhere I usually shop but was thrilled to find these boots when I went with my son for him to purchase hunting gear. The necklace is from plunder, A brand to which I was just recently introduced but that I love.

Skincare Must-haves

My skin and I have engaged in a battle since I entered puberty. Now, in my thirties, I still need the occasional acne treatment as well as wrinkle prevention. My major problem is under eye bags. Below are my skincare must-haves!

1.  Neutrogena Makeup Remover Wipes:  I use one every morning and every night. These wipes are by far the best way to remove stubborn eye makeup!  I also find them very refreshing in the morning before applying my makeup.

2. Mary Kay blemish control toner:  Love it!  It removes any leftover makeup and helps prevent acne.

3.  Luminesce cellular rejuvenation serum: This is the product I can not live without. I can't even begin to tell you how much it has improved my skin. It literally makes my skin glow.

4.  Mary Kay Timewise firming eye cream: I alternate this eye cream with Preparation H. Yes, you read it correctly. Preparation H the hemorrhoid cream. I haven't found anything else to shrink my problem under eye bags.

5. Mary Kay Timewise SPF 35:  sunscreen is essential. This goes under my makeup everyday.

6. Clinique All About Eyes Serum:  Another must have. This was introduced to me by my brother in law, who is a news reporter. Shrinks those eye baggies in the morning!

Our skin changes as we age, and we all have different skincare needs. The products above are just what works from me. Hopefully one or two of them will help you as well!
